Personally and professionally I have been dealing with Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral home for years. The staff is incredible and goes out of their way to make a difficult time easier. I have spent time with them at all hours of the day and night with grieving families and I am constantly amazed at the compassion and professionalism they bring to every situation and as a hospice nurse this is a crucial piece to bringing families peace and closure.

It was sad.

I appreciated the time and the care given to me when I was making the plans for my mother's funeral. This was the most difficult task I have had to undertake in my life, but Ben and the staff of Bauknecht's were so compassionate and understanding. They made sure everything went smoothly.

Death is such a hard time for everyone involved but working with Ben made the process much easier. He has compassion and works well with families on the hard decisions we have to make.

Can’t say enough about how Bauknecht-Altmeyer funeral home took such good care of my family at one of the hardest times of our lives, helped us take care of everything before and after the funeral, they were so kind and patient, treated us like there own family. Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral and specifically Ben Zonker, were extremely helpful, compassionate and understanding while taking care of my beloved wife's funeral. We live in Chesapeake Virginia and Ben took care of all necessary arrangements to bring my wife home to Bellaire. Everything went as Ben planned it and the service was beautiful.
