Christopher James Bennett, 27, of Martins Ferry, OH passed away on September 25, 2022.
He was born on March 3, 1995 to John Myers and Jeanette (Bennett) Coey in Bellaire, OH.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Robert Myers and step-grandfather, Michael C. Coey.
Christopher was a 2013 graduate of St. Clairsville High School, where he was a member of the drum line. He loved his family, music (especially country), and nature. Christopher could be described as a jokester, he had a great sense of humor, and made everyone laugh.
Christopher is survived by his mother, Jeanette (Michael) Coey of Franklin, NC, daughter, Oakley Ann Bennett, significant other whom he was living with, Rose Cameron, and her children: Caiden, Emma, Sophia, and Willow, half-brother, Freddy Schell of Wheeling, WV, grandparents, Edward (Alretta) Bennett of Bridgeport, OH; step-grandparents, Doug (Linda) Howell. several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 with Reverend David Demarest officiating at Bauknecht Altmeyer Funeral Homes – Bellaire Chapel 441 37th Street Bellaire, OH 43906.
