Alexander Lee Quinn, 26, of Shadyside, OH passed away on Sunday April 11, 2021.
He was born November 2, 1994 in Wheeling, WV, the son of Sam and Shelly Quinn.
Alex was Christian by faith. He loved to compete in and watch sports. He was the Ohio State Wrestling Champion for Shadyside High School in 2013, a member of the Football and Wrestling teams at Shadyside High School, a 2-time Toughman Contest Winner, and a member of the Bullpen Fight Club in Wheeling, WV. He was a gentle and humble protector. He loved animals and enjoyed spending time with children, his friends, and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Rick Ray, his Great Grandfathers and Great Grandmother.
Surviving are his Mother, Shelly Quinn of Malaga, OH; Father, Sam Quinn of Jacobsburg, OH; Brother, Gregory Quinn of Jacobsburg, OH; Sister, Kylie Quinn of Jacobsburg, OH; Grandparents, Pam (Brian) Collins of Jacobsburg, OH, Debra (Rick) Holstein of Woodsfield, OH; Great Grandmothers, Ann Tenley of McMechan, WV, Ethel Carpenter of Ashland, OH; Uncle, Jon Quinn of Wheeling, WV; Three Aunts, Dana Collins of Wheeling, WV, Dawn Ray of Martins Ferry, OH, Elisha Adams of Woodsfield, OH; Cousins, Connor Quinn, Caitlin Collins, Gabe Quinn, Rainee Collins, Kaylee Whittaker; and a Special Friend, Lindsee Perry.

Visitation will take place on Monday April 19, 2021 at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes 3900 Central Ave. Shadyside, OH 43947 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM. Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 1 PM with Rev. James Hoff officiating. Burial will follow at Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville, OH.

Levi wanted this to be written from him. I’m so sorry I can’t be there for all of you but know I love you all and prayers. Alex I love ya brother. We are Best Friends and I will always have you in my heart. I will remember all of the good times we had together from wrestling to our adult years. When I get out in 9 months I promise you I will do what I need to do and between us you know what I’m talking about. I’m happy that we did get to talk on the phone at Alex and lindsay wedding.
