Anne Elizabeth Postage Shultz, 98 of New Albany, Ohio formerly of Dilles Bottom. Ohio passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born June 15, 1917 in Virginia a daughter of the late Joseph and Marietta Rubesa Postage and spent her entire life in Dilles Bottom, Ohio. She owned and operated The Lighthouse Restaurant and Sinclair Gas Station in Dilles Bottom and later worked at the Stone and Thomas Department Store in Wheeling.
Anne’s church was very important to her and she was the treasurer at the former Dilles Bottom United Methodist Church. She loved tending to her flower gardens and was a wonderful cook.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Shultz on January 15, 2008, her sister, Mary Corbett and her four brothers, Frank, John, Joe and Rudy Postage.
Surviving are her daughter, Mickey (Marc) Perdue of Gahanna, Ohio, one granddaughter, Lisa Anne (Robert) Kelley of Westerville, Ohio, one grandson, David Pond of Grapevine, Texas, two great grandchildren, Victoria Anne and Brock Kelley and one great great granddaughter, Teagan all of Columbus, Ohio. Also two sisters-in-law, Clementine Postage of Pickerington, Ohio and Elizabeth “Babe” Shultz of Shadyside, Ohio. She was Teta to many nieces and nephews. Anne will be greatly missed.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, Ohio on Thursday from 9 am until time of services at 11 am with Rev Theresa Bobot officiating. Interment in the Powhatan Cemetery in Powhatan Point, Ohio.

When my nieces, nephews and grandchildren remember me I hope it is with the same spirit that I remember Teta and Uncle Stan. She was fun and always up for a visit or a lamb roast or to tour her gardens and flower beds. Too many memories to even begin putting down here. She will be missed.
