Rebecca ‘Becky’ Ninni, 63, of Powhatan Point passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday August 6, 2023.
Born on November 11, 1959 in Bellaire Ohio, the daughter of Sylvia (Turner) McGuire and the late James McGuire
Rebecca Ninni’s journey was one filled with love, compassion, and a true zest for life.
Throughout her life, Becky discovered joy in caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Her dedication to her work extended beyond the boundaries of a profession – it was a reflection of her compassionate soul. Her gentle and nurturing spirit touched the lives of countless individuals, easing their burdens with a comforting smile and attentive care.
Beyond her work, Becky found solace in the simple pleasures that life had to offer. Nothing brought her greater contentment than sitting on her porch, savoring a cup of coffee while the world moved around her. She immersed herself in the outdoors, marveling at nature’s beauty and finding tranquility amidst its serenity. Becky proudly served her country in the United States Air Force. Furthermore, she possessed a talent for decorating and enjoyed creating warm and inviting spaces that reflected her immeasurable love for her family and friends.
However, Becky’s ultimate joy came from her treasured role as a grandmother. Watching her grandchildren grow and thrive filled her heart with unmatched happiness. Their presence in her life brought forth an enchanting light to her eyes that will forever be etched in the memories of those fortunate enough to have witnessed it.
Rebecca Ninni’s remarkable journey was intertwined with the love and support of her dear family. In addition to her mother, she leaves behind her beloved children, Jessica (Matthew) Amedro, Jay Ninni, Katelyn (Phillip Thomas) Ninni, and Jordan (Shawn) Benson, brothers, James (Robyn) McGuire and Jay (Tara) McGuire, all whom provided her with unwavering support and companionship, creating cherished memories that will endure forever.
Furthermore, the light of her life, her grandchildren – Rylee Knight, Bryson Mount, Jaelyn Mount, Declyn Benson, and Daxtyn Benson – were her greatest pride, she was fondly known as their ‘Mimi’. Additionally Becky is survived by a niece and several nephews.

I didn’t really get to know Becky until after I moved back to Powhatan from Columbus, she was a joy and so pleasant to spend time with. I am so very grateful for the help, care and love she gave my mother in mom’s last few months of life.
Becky was a wonderful lady and I will always feel lucky that she was not only my cousin but my friend. We all love and will always miss you and will see you again one day in a better time and place.
Love you, Mick
May the love of God surround you and your family during this difficult time,
May you come to know that the love of God is with you always,
May your memories of Rebecca Ninni, give you peace, comfort and strength…
Rest now in the arms of our Lord your mission on earth is complete.
I thank you for your service to our Country and my Freedom. You will not be forgotten.

She was a amazing woman. She had a big heart and many times she came to my Mom(audreys) house to chitchat and chill and drink coffee. She always was near to check on my Mom anytime day or night. She will always be remembered.RIP Becky and now you can drink that cup coffee with my Mom in Heaven.
My sympathy goes to the entire family. Even in her illness she tried to stay upbeat. she will be missed. In my prayers I have asked her to check on her Grandma and Grandpa Turner. I know she will, always the care giver and comforter.
I loved Becki with all my heart. She was my Nanny’s saving grace in her time of need as well as mine many years ago and was so happy to do it without no excuses. Seeing her smile was a beautiful sight not to mention her laugh was contagious and orneriness well that was the McGuire side in her. My heart and prayers are with the girls and Jay her son who I know loved their mom with their heart and soul. I am going to miss her very much.
~ Prayers of comfort for you all ~ so very sorry
