The very first Nat. Imperial Glass Society meeting I attended was held at the Columbus Gas office and there I met Betty Jane. I greatly admired her.
She and Lucile Kennedy were best friends and I was privileged to have been friends with both. She was so interested in the Glass Club and the Museum. She was an asset to the community.

Betty Jane was a very kind and intelligent friend. We met when I became a member of Pilot Club. Betty Jane helped me in many ways over the years in the club and in life.

Betty Jane was a remarkable lady and always had a beautiful smile to greet friends in the community. I was honored to know her through her many affiliations, including the Imperial Glass Society and her active association with Shadyside organizations. I fondly recall her outings with Cyril and her little dog, who often accompanied her. The Ohio Valley is a better place due to her caring and kindness.
