Betty Lane Nash, 95 of Shadyside, Ohio died Friday December 21, 2018 at Shadyside Care Center.
She was born March 22, 1923 a daughter of the late Raymond Dean and Laura “Elsie” (Schram) Lowery in Bellaire, Ohio.
Betty was a Christian by faith and a member of the Bellaire Christian Church.
She loved old movies especially “Fools Parade” which she watched being made in the valley.
Betty also enjoyed Lawrence Welk and big band music.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and step-father Raymond Lowery as well as a brother Donald Dean.
She is survived by her son Darryl Nash of Shadyside, Ohio and her daughter-in-law Cherrel Nash also of Shadyside, Ohio.
In addition she is survived by her grandchildren, Amanda (Gabe) Rubrico of Hong Kong, Mitchell Nash of Shadyside, Ohio and Anne-Melissa Nash of Wheeling, WV as well as her precious great-grandchildren, Amelia Copney and Nash Rubrico.
She is also survived by her favorite niece Joyce Nash and several other nieces and nephews. Betty’s family would like to recognize Gary and JoAnn Wells who were her loving Christian family.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Ave, Shadyside, Ohio 43947 on Monday December 24, 2018 from 9 am until time of funeral service at 11 am with Pastor Jerry Garloch officiating.
Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
