Beverly J. Hollingshead, 78 of Bellaire, Ohio died Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the Acuity Specialty Hospital in Bellaire, Ohio.
She was born February 7, 1938 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Andrew J. and Lina E. McCloud Marple.
Beverly was a member of the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire and a former teacher for the Head Start Program. She was an amazing, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A very giving person and a friend to everyone she met. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Charles Hollinghead, one sister, Ruth Kirkpatrick and five brothers, Everett, John, Clarence, Jim and Earl Marple.
Surviving are her sons, Richard Hollingshead of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Twins, Rusty Hollingshead of Bellaire, Ohio and Randy and her loving daughter-in-law, Jane Hollingshead of Bridgeport, Ohio. Also six grandchildren, Christy, Alissa, Brandi, Matt, Cody, Shealyn and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm where services will be held on Sunday at 1 pm with Fr. Daniel Heusel officiating. Interment in the High Ridge Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.
