Beverly M. Ray, 90 of Bellaire, Ohio died Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, Ohio.

She was born November 17, 1930 in Martins Ferry, Ohio daughter of the late Lawrence and Frances Tobin Snider.

Beverly was a homemaker and former nursing assistant at the City Hospital in Bellaire, Ohio, a member of the Bellaire Presbyterian Church, Order of Eastern Star, Captina Chapter 489 and a graduate of Bellaire High School, Class of 1948.

In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John G. Ray on November 7, 2020, two sisters, Marlene Boccabella and Ellen Tekely, son-in-law, Bernard Walker and two nephews, David Boccabella and Jeffrey Tekely.

Surviving are her children, Gary (Sarah) Ray of Charlottesville, Virginia, Gregory (Bonnie) Ray of St. Clairsville, Ohio and Shauna Walker and her fiance, Robert Wallace of Bellaire, Ohio. Also her grandchildren, Courtney (Charles) Clark, Ashley Walker, Jarrett (Marie) Ray, Justin (Sarah) Ray, Corey (Elizabeth) Ray and Andrew Ray, great grandchildren, Codin Walker, Benjamin Ray, Emma Ray, Julia Ray and one soon to be born and several nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am with Rev. Marcia Allen officiating. Interment in the Greenwood Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.

SO SAD TO SEE BEVERLY HAS PASSED ON……SHE WAS SO MUCH A PART OF MY “GROWING UP” ON BELLEVIEW AND SHE HAD ALWAYS BEEN KIND TO US AS WE GREW INTO OUR ADULTHOOD LIVES. MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO HER CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN AND THOSE THAT LOVED HER.
