Clarence “Clem” A. Carney Jr. , 79 of Martins Ferry Ohio died Wednesday November 8, 2017 at Rolling Hills Nursing Home.

He was born July 29, 1938 in Cameron, WV a son of the late Clarence A. and Helen Orvelline (Schrack) Carney Sr.

Clem was an Air Force Veteran and a self employed Sign Painter for over 40 years.

He liked to paint and collect cars.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Frankie Schrack and a sister, Phyllis Jean Carney.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Poe) Carney of Martins Ferry, Ohio, his siblings Frederick Carney of Wheeling, WV, Katherine Wells of Bridgeport, Ohio, Lawrence (Sue) Carney of West Liberty, WV and Dorothy Topp of Martins Ferry, Ohio along with several nieces and nephews.

Final arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
