Our condolences to your entire family.
Junior was my cousin. He was a funny and kind man. Even though we didn’t see each other often, when we did we picked up right were we left off. He was so funny on facebook that I will truly miss his light hearted posts. I pray that Barb, his children and grandchildren find peace. We lost a good man! Rest in peace cousin!
Thoughts are with you Barb and the kids. Dan was always joking and smiling. He was a great man and will be greatly missed. Stay strong as a family and wish I could turn time back to give you one more day.
Dan was one of my best friends growing up for many, many years. He lived across the street from me. We hung out together. We spent the night at each other’s house all the time. He traveled with me and my parents on vacation. We took martial arts together. We played video games and watched TV together. If anyone would give me any trouble, he was by my side sticking up for me. He was like a brother to me. My mom still calls him Son. Growing up my family and I also called him “Junior” as his nickname was known. I even remembered when him and I worked on a Magic Show to put on for the Neighborhood kids (which we never did) since we both enjoyed magic. I have a lot of great memories of my best friend Dan that I will hold for the rest of my life. He was truly a blessing to me, my family and all those around him. I will miss you dearly Junior. Rest in Peace my friend and may God bless your wife, kids and family.
So sorry to hear about Dan. While I only knew him from the softball fields, it wasn’t hard to realize he was one of “LIFE’S GOOD GUYS” on and off the playing field. I’m sure he’ll be missed and remembered by all who knew him during his ‘brief’ time on this earth.
May the love of God surround you and your family during this difficult time,
May you come to know that the love of God is with you always,
May your memories of Dan West, give you peace, comfort and strength…
Rest now in the arms of our Lord your mission on earth is complete.
I thank you for your service to our Country and my Freedom. You will not be forgotten.
