Darlene F. Hill, 67, of St. Clairsville, OH died Monday, November 20, 2017 at Liza’s Place of Valley Hospice, Wheeling, WV. She was born May 25, 1950 in Elizabeth, WV a daughter of the late Marshall Robert and Hilda Reno Lott.

Darlene was a retired Manager for Softite Community Federal Credit Union in Martins Ferry, OH and a Presbyterian by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Linwood Hill; three sisters, Roberta Parsons, Shirley Lott and Donna Vanscoy; four brothers, Clarence, Gary, Mervyn and David Lott.

Surviving are a son, Lee (Kerri) Hill of St. Clairsville; three sisters, Coralie Sutton, Barbara Marshall and Myrtle Ledsome; two brothers, Brainard Lott and Robert Lott; a step-grandson, Max Thornton.

Friends will be received on Wednesday for a Memorial Visitation from 5-7 pm at Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory 204 West Main Street St. Clairsville.

I am so sorry for your loss. Although I knew my neighbor, Darlene, for such a short time, I found her to be very nice and easy to talk to. She was making her new home her own. She really appreciated the efforts of Lee in helping her transition. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
