I knew David long ago when he lived in Bellaire. Such a sweet man, one who didn’t mind my long winded conversations & always a gentleman! Was saddened to hear that he wasn’t doing well recently. My condolences to Linda & his family on his passing! Rest in Peace, my sweet friend!

I knew David through our dear departed friend, Alex. Now, the two roommates have been reunited through your will. Some fond memories (drinking his cup of hot tea when he first arises, to the meticulous care of his car(s), to his love of Ohio State and his family, of our trip to Washington, D.C., a listening rock to my broken relationships, our movie dates, fighting for the restaurant bils (especially at Mehleman’s). So many more loving memories to cherish forever.

I was very saddened to hear the announcement this morning at my church that David passed away following his stay in a local hospice unit. I knew David for the last nine years since my return to the area upon my retirement, and have met or
know several members of his extended family for longer periods. I extend my prayers to those who knew him better than I did, and whose deeds now will be saying their farewells as I am doing to someone whose in God’s care now for eternity. David was a good friend, and my memories of him will not be lost. He is at rest now, and waiting for us to join him when the time comes for us.

I was saddened by the passing of a friend and neighbor who resided in the same apartment complex where I reside. I knew David for nearly nine years, and various members of his family since my return to the area. I will miss him very much, but rejoice in the knowledge that he is with her eternal family and has earned his peace with the Eternal Father. I convey my prayers for strength to cope with this loss to his family, especially to those whose task is to carry out his final wishes and say their farewells to someone we will all miss in our daily lives.
