David J. Dober 79 of Lake Wylie, South Carolina died Saturday September 11, 2021 at Provence Care Assisted Living.

Formerly of Bellaire, Ohio he was born August 12, 1942 a son of the late John and Marie (Lapinski) Dober.

David worked as an electrician and computer technician for Lucent Technologies and was a Catholic by faith.

He served honorably as a veteran of the United States Air Force.

David was preceded in death by his parents John and Marie Dober.

He is survived by his sons Roger Dober of Fort Mill, SC, Danny Dober of Ft Lauderdale, FL, and his wife Sarah of Ft Mill, SC.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441, 37th street on Friday September 17, 2021 from 5 pm until 6 pm and again on Saturday September 18, 2021 from 10 am until time of service at 12pm with Pastor James Hoff officiating.

Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.

Military services will be held by the Belmont County Veterans Association in conjunction with the Air Force Honor Guard.

I remember David from out on Winding Hill. He was a really nice guy and always kind. May he RIP..
