David Frye

David L. Frye, 85, of Powhatan Point died Saturday, October 21, 2023, at his son’s house in Bellaire Ohio.

He was born August 8, 1938 in New Martinsville, WV a son of the late Robert Frye and Helen (Lemmons) Frye Wiley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Alice, Sharon Ann, and Shelva Jean and brothers, Robert Frye and Thomas Frye.

Surviving are his children Melissa Smith, Tonya Frye and Thomas Frye, grandchildren, Tia Larry and Tara Dodds, great-grandchildren Taryn and Aubriel Dodds and Weston Larry, as well as sisters, Brenda Kernan, Wanda Kay Rosier and Linda Sue; and half siblings, Gary Wiley and Carol Steele; and families.

Per David’s wishes, there will be no services. Private inurnment will be at the convenience of the family in Powhatan Cemetery. Arrangments by Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 186 Main Street Powhatan Point Ohio.
