David Keith Hoskinson Sr., 64, of Shadyside, Ohio, passed away February 12, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital.

Dave was born April 13, 1956 to the late Ralph and Betty Riffle Hoskinson.

Dave as a member of the Lincoln Avenue Methodist Church. He was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post 521 in Shadyside and the V.F.W. Post 626 in Bellaire. He was retired from the former Murray Energy Marshall County Coal Mine.

In addition to his parents Dave was preceded in death by a son David Keith Hoskinson Jr.

Dave is survived by his wife of 40 years, Denise Dunning Hoskinson, his children, Kimberly (Zac) Parker and Eric Hoskinson, his brothers John (Karen) Hoskinson and Bob (Bonnie) Hoskinson, his grandchildren Kamryn Parker, Bryce Parker, David Hoskinson, and Samantha Hoskinson, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be private.

Hawk knew my father-in-law and when he passed…Hawk told us some fun stories about him at the Buzz Inn. So sad to see that he passed. My husband & I really liked him.

Dave obviously loved his family and his family obviously loved him. You can’t say more for the measure of a man than that. That’s really all that matters. He will be missed. Our prayers for strength and peace for his family and memories will surely provide a smile when you least expect it.
