David William Boltz, 45 of Powhatan Point, Ohio died Saturday, February 6, 2016.

 

He was born March 15, 1970 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of Billy and Pixie Stottlemyer Boltz.

 

Dave was a Research Engineer for Nucor Vulcraft/Verco Group, New Product and Market Development in Wheeling, West Virginia. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Powhatan Point, Ohio, Moriah Lodge 105 F & AM, Order of Eastern Star, Chaptina Chapter 489, Steel Deck Institute, and the Moose Lodge 2621 of Wheeling, West Virginia.

 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clyde and Pauline Richardson Stottlemyer and paternal grandparents, William and Rose Susac Boltz.

 

Surviving are his children, Noah William Boltz, Valerie Starr Boltz, Molly Rose Boltz, his parents, Pixie and Billy Boltz, his brother, Daniel (Renni) Boltz, his nieces, Sidney Boltz and Sophie Boltz and his former wife and friend, Tera Moore Boltz all of Powhatan Point, Ohio, Also several aunts, uncles and many friends.

 

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 186 Main Street Powhatan Point, Ohio on Wednesday from 3 to 9 pm and Thursday from 1 to 8 pm where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 am with Rev. C. Gregory Stone and Pastor David Smith officiating. Interment in the Powhatan Cemetery in Powhatan Point, Ohio.

 

Masonic services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 7 pm.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to The College Fund for David Boltz’s Children at any WesBanco Bank or by mailing checks to One Bank Plaza, Wheeling, WV 26003.

I can remember we all went four wheeler riding and I stole Daves beer he picked me up and threw me in the biggest and stinkiest mud hole there was I was so mad. had some great times with you guys up on the hill with Tara and all. You will be missed my friend prayers for all..

My deepest condolences to all three families and children. I’m originally from Powhatan, although I didn’t know the men personally, they all seemed to love life and live it to the fullest. May God bless, heal and comfort all the families. Thought and pprayers to all.
