Delmas L. McVay, 86, of Powhatan Point, OH died Monday, June 29, 2020 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV. He was born April 24, 1934 in Pipe Creek, OH., a son of the late Clifford and Ada Brown McVay.
Delmas was retired from the former Ormet Corporation as a crane operator, a member of Powhatan Church of the Nazarene and the Powhatan American Legion Post 228.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margery Anne McVay in July of 2018; three brothers, Clifford, Glen and Raymond McVay; three sisters, Marcella Wells, Kate Hartley and Neva Chismar.
Surviving are four children, Lee (Charmane) McVay of Powhatan Point, Ron (Amy) McVay of Morristown, OH, Christine (Rich) Wright of Powhatan Point and Cynthia (Sox) Jennewein of Bellaire, OH; a sister, Wilma Hannan of Powhatan Point; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
As per his wishes, no visitation or services are planned.

Delmas was a kind and loving man. He loved his family and he loved the Lord. You are reunited with the love of your life and in the presence of your Lord and Savior. You will be missed by many.
