Dear Borscht Family,
I just saw that your Mom passed away. I wanted you to know how wonderful she was to my Dad when he was at Shadyside care. She was so committed to her those in her care and so spirit-lifting. I have a great pic of her making my Dad laugh, which was not an easy thing to do. You have my sincerest condolences.
Mike, Mark, and Becky, We just now learned of your mother’s passing. We are so sorry. She and Delores made our Wedding cake. It was beautiful. Your mom was always a lot of fun. I remember her visits to Jean and Arch’s home when I was there. Randy always had stories about when he would get in trouble with Mark and Mike. (Ex: Fishing during a flood on the creek) I have heard about or witnessed with my own eyes so many times. I loved your dad and your mom. It is very difficult to lose your parents, no matter what their age or from which illnesses they were suffering. Mike and Mark, I know you Dad and Mom are so proud of you.
Becky so sorry for your loss

The Van Nest Family Dona and my mother Sandy Van Nest was friends for along time they worked years together at the SHADYSIDE Care center we are so sorry for your loss our mother thought the world of Dona!
My sympathies to your family. I had loved ones at the care center when Dona was still working. She was like a ray of sunshine! She would visit my stepdad, Bob Bosold, & he’d reminisce about his hunting days with Andy. She was a bright spot for so many & you were so blessed to have her as your mom. May your memories always be a blessing.
