Donald L. Rankin, 58, of Shadyside, OH died January 6, 2018, at the Forest Hill Care Center, St Clairsville, OH.
Donald was born March 10,1959, in Bellaire, OH a son of the late Herman and Edna Gooch Rankin.
Don was a 1977 graduate of Shadyside High School, a member of the Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church, Sons of the American Legion, Post # 521 both of Shadyside, OH and the DeMolay International. Surviving is two brothers, Robert “Bob” (Charlotte) Carpenter of Quartzsite, AZ and Bill (Gayle) Carpenter of Cambridge, OH, two sisters, Carol (Don) Emerick of Thornville, OH and Patricia (Fred) Garcia of Shadyside, OH, also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Burial was at the convenience of the family at Armstrongs Mills Cemetery with Reverend Randy Weaver officiating. Arrangements by Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3900 Central Avenue, Shadyside, OH
