Edie was the person that my grandmother considered to be her best friend at Country Club. Edie helped her in so many ways upon arriving there and even got her to start going to the activities. My grandmother had always spoken fondly of her. In the times I was able to visit, I got to see her kindness and friendship with my grandmother. She was such a wonderful person! I send all my prayers and love to her family.
Oh Edith was such a joy!!! I worked briefly at the CCRC in Bellaire and I just thought what an incredibly positive influence she was to everyone there! I want to be like her if I ever age into my nineties. She was always up for discussions, games, music, crafts, even bowling! She lived her best life and she was always happy. May she rest in peaceful sleep….
My sympathies to her family and friends. I feel blessed to have known her 🙂
So sorry for your loss. Edie was a lovely lady. My mom is surely missing her. R.I.P. Edie
Rita, Chuck and Bill, I’m very sorry to hear this about your Mom. May she rest in peace.
Edith was my cousin. When I was a very young child Edith stayed with us for a time after her mother had died. My mother was Uncle Ben’s sister. Her sisters Pearl and Ruth also were with us during those early years. I have very fond memories of Edith.Although we have not kept in touch I do want to share my condolences and am so happy to know she had a very loving, caring, and joyful life. Rita, Chuck, and Bill, Ron and I are so sorry about the passing of your mother. She was a sweet, lovely lady. We have many fond memories of family get to gathers. She introduced us all to German potato salad. It has become a favorite dish whenever I get to a German restaurant. I always enjoyed our phone conversations after Uncle Bill’s death. Midge kept me up to date on your mom’s bowling activities later on. We’re sorry that the weather and the pandemic stops our traveling down to calling hours and the funeral. Love to you all.
So sorry for your loss. Jesus has promised us a resurrection so know we will see her again. For now, sleep in peace.
In memory of Eddie a wonderful lady may God comfort her family.
