Edward “Eddie” Ponzani, 90, of St. Clairsville, OH died Friday, January 12, 2018 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. He was born September 1, 1927 in St. Clairsville a son of the late Attilio and Marianna Delporto Ponzani.

Eddie was a retired construction worker and esteemed local plummer. He was a member of Bannock Apostolic Church and a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Guiseppi, Gary and Joe Ponzani; two sisters, Mary Zimmerman and Victoria Arigoni.

Surviving are three brothers, Bill (Mary Lou) Ponzani of Willowick, OH, Don (Ruth) Ponzani of St. Clairsville and Aldo (Virginia) Ponzani of Hilliard, OH; many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Friday from 11 am until time of funeral service at 2:30 pm at Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory 204 West Main Street St. Clairsville, OH 43950 with Dan Ponzani officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
