Elwood “Woody” Wilson Albaugh, 93, of Bellaire, OH passed away on Tuesday November 14th, 2023 peacefully at his home.
He was born on January 8th, 1930 in Bellaire, OH to the late Caroline (Hayden) and Harry Albaugh.
Elwood had retired from the USAF, after serving his country for over 20 years, and was a member of the South Bellaire Methodist Church where he was a Lay Speaker for over 20 years. He spent many years painting Church invitation signs and was very active in the Invitation Outreach as well. He was also a member of the Bellaire American Legion Post 52.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters, Harry Jr., Hellen, Joe, Dorothy, Elda and 2 infant siblings.
Elwood is survived by his loving wife Elaine (Kirckler) Albaugh, having been married blissfully for over 39 years; his children, John (Gill) Albaugh, Dorinda Klein, David (Mandy) Albaugh, Don (Ruthie) Trigg; a sister, Joan Pastor; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday November 21st at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home 441 37th Street Bellaire, OH from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM. Reverend Don Trigg will be the officiant and interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.

Memorial Contributions in Elwood’s name may be give to the St. Jude’s Foundation at TMCFunding.com
