Eugene Reant, 83, of Bellaire, Ohio died Friday April 6, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born December 15, 1934 a son of the late Louis and Catherine (Caums) Reant in Beech Bottom, WV.

Eugene served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Consol Coal as a Boudler Operator and was a Catholic by faith.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents a brother Louis Reant and a son-in-law Tom Krsul.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Ladina (Giannangeli) Reant, his children Kathy Krsul of Bellaire, Ohio and Linda Sadowski of Hampton, VA.

In addition he is survived by two grand-children Christopher and Tiffanie Sadowski as well as two great-grandsons, Landyn and Clayton.

The family wishes to recognize and thank Kathy Krsul for her loving care for Eugene and Ladina.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441, 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio 43906 on Wednesday April 11 from 6 until 8 pm with a vigil service at 7:45pm.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday April 12 at 2 pm with Fr. Daniel Heusel officiating at Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.
