Evelyn Marling, 82 of Bridgeport, Ohio died Friday October 23, 2020 at Belmont Manor Nursing Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
She was born March 22, 1938 a daughter of the late William and Alverda (Snider) Iams in Bellaire, Ohio.
Evelyn worked as a cashier for Fry’s Grocery Store and was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church.
Preceded in death by her parents and a great-grandson.
She loved her family dearly.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Marling and her children, Terri (William) Biggins of Glen Allen, VA, Michael (Barbara) Marling of Bellaire, Ohio and Brenda (James) Parker of Bellaire, Ohio.
In addition she is survived by 8 grandsons and 8 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441, 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio 43906 on Monday October 26, 2020 from 4 to 8 pm and again on Tuesday October 27, 2020 from 11 am until time of service at 12 pm with Fr. Richard Skaggs officiating.
Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, Ohio.

Hey Brenda, so sorry for your loss. I don’t ever remember a time being at your house when your mom wasn’t in the kitchen cooking. She was so nice to all of us neighborhood kids. Prayers for you and your family.
