Frances Galavich, 96, of Shadyside, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
She was born Frances Zuleski in Glen Robbins, Ohio on November 28, 1925. However, she was a Shadyside girl through and through. She graduated from SHS The Class of 1945. Fondly remembered as the cashier at the former A & P in Bellaire, a homemaker, mother, and also cashier from the former Suter’s IGA in Shadyside. She was always active with bus trips, water aerobics, playing canasta, and bowling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Charlie” Galavich in 1981. She was the youngest of four sisters and two brothers whom also preceded her in death.
Survived by her daughter, Cindy Ritola and son-in-law, Matt Ritola of Fort Mill, South Carolina, which is a suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina and her son, Chuck Galavich, daughter-in-law Susan (Zych) Galavich, granddaughters, Sarah Galavich and Faith Galavich all of Bethesda, Ohio, nephew, Bill Zuleski of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, nieces, Nancy Verplank of Demotte, Indiana, and Carol Almashy of Chicago, Illinois.

Visitation will be held at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home, 3900 Central Avenue, Shadyside, Ohio on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 11:30 am with services at 1:00 pm with Dennis Heater, Stonerise Hospice officiating.
