Fred Warner Shepherd, Sr. 87 of McClainsville Road, Bellaire, Ohio died Friday, December 4, 2020 in the Cumberland Point Nursing Center in St. Clairsville, Ohio.

He was born in McClainsville on June 4, 1933 son of the late William A. and Bertha Pugh Shepherd.

Fred was a retired employee of the former Ohio Ferro Alloys and a US Air Force veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois McGarry Shepherd; grandson, Jeremy W. Shepherd, brother, Charles Shepherd and sisters, Helen Shepherd, Irene LeMasters and Audrey Snow.

Surviving are his three sons, Paul (Alisa) Shepherd of Akron, Ohio, Fred W. (Merinda) Shepherd, Jr. of Bellaire, Ohio and Mark Shepherd of Wheeling, West Virginia, one sister, Norma Barricklow of Cincinnati, Ohio. Also four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory on Monday from 2 until time of services at 4pm with Pastor Bill Marinelli officiating. Interment in the Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Clairsville, Ohio at the convenience of the family.
