Raymond E.’Gene’ Timbrook, 87, of Shadyside died Friday, October 7, 2022, at Reynold’s Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, West Virginia
He was born January 27, 1935 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of the late Geneva (Kuhens) and Raymond W. Timbrook.
Gene was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. He was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Yorkville office as a Supervisor. Following their retirement, Gene and his wife, Dorothy spent many years traveling and cycling as a hobby. Gene was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Shadyside, Shadyside American Legion Post 521,and Shadyside Boosters. He also was a member of a euchre club and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings; Robert Timbrook, Thomas Timbrook, Donald Timbrook and Carol Timbrook.
Surviving are his Wife, Dorothy Timbrook, sons, Todd (Stacey Weigand) Timbrook of Shadyside and Troy Timbrook of Columbus, and one sister, Joan Dolence.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, OH 43947 on Tuesday October11, 2022 from 6-8pm and on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 11am until time of funeral services at Noon. Interment will follow at Powhatan Cemetery with full military honors
