George Sheba

George Sheba 81, of Powhatan Pt, OH was welcomed into the arms of his savior March 1, 2018.

George was born June 20, 1936, in Bellaire, Ohio a son of Joseph and Mary (Moraviz) Sheba, now deceased.

He was retired from the former Ferro Alloy Corporation and was a Catholic by Faith. He devoted his life to taking care of his parents and farming the family farm.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Joe Sheba, and three sisters, Honey Staso, Ann Schuster, and Margaret Myers.

Surviving is his sister-in-law, Hazel Sheba of Jacobsburg, OH, several nieces and nephews.

He will be sadly missed by his nieces and caregivers, Mary Beth Tennant, and Joanne Ewing both of Powhatan Pt, OH.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 3pm -7pm at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 186 Main Street, Powhatan Pt, OH.

Funeral liturgy with Mass will be held at 11:30am Tuesday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church Powhatan Pt, OH with Fr. Samuel Saprano officiating.

Interment follows at Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan PT, OH.
