Harold W. Luedy, 90 of Shadyside, Ohio died Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, West Virginia.
He was born April 15, 1928 in Sardis, Ohio the son of the late William and Bertha Jones Luedy.
Harold was a retired laboratory technician for the Bellaire Clinic and Methodist by faith. He was a graduate of the Chicago School of Laboratory Tecnicians, a member of the VFW Post 626 Bellaire and a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 521 Shadyside.
Being a lifetime American Legionaire, Harold dedicated many years of service to the American Legion and their programs.
Surviving are his wife, JoAnn Ritchie Luedy, his son, Neal and Karen of Shadyside, Ohio and his daughter, Robin of Cincinnati, Ohio. Also his grandsons, Benjamin and Chad, great grandchildren, Peyton and Caleb and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, Ohio on Saturday from 3 to 7 pm followed by Full Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Post 521 and the Belmont County Council of the American Legion.
