Helen Strizak 95 of Bellaire, Ohio died Monday September 16, 2019 at Belmont Manor in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
She was born February 21, 1924 a daughter of the late Joe and Julia (Kupronis) Belevich in Shadyside, Ohio.
Helen was a homemaker and a Catholic by faith.
She was a member of the Catholic Women’s Club and volunteered in the cafeteria at St. John Grade School.
Most important was her family and she loved her grandchildren very much.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Steve Strizak, 2 sisters, Catherine Misencik and Johanna Kolenich as well as a step-brother Joe Czerniakowski.
She is survived by her children, Marsha Ewing, Janet (Tom) Young and Janice Palicka all of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Steven Strizak of Saddlebrook, NJ, Brian (Kim) Strizak of Dayton, OH and Brenda (Mike) Hogan of Keller, TX.
In addition she is survived by ten grandchildren, Jennifer (Dan), Justin (Kara), Stephanie (Will), Josh (Jess), Jordan ((Joe), Breanne (Anthony), Matthew, Michael, Christian and Alex; as well as four great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Mass in her memory at 11 am on Friday September 20, 2019 at St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio.
Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Fr. Daniel Heusel will officiate services.
