Howard Beveridge, 96, of Bellaire, OH passed away Monday, January 24, 2022, peacefully at home.

He was born May 13, 1925 in Bellaire, OH, a son of the late Howard and Ethel Beveridge.

Howard proudly served his country during WWII in the Navy and was an active member of the American Legion Post 52 in Bellaire, OH. He worked for many years as a crane operator for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. Howard “Pap” enjoyed being with his family who he loved deeply.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters; Donna (Robert) Weekley, Joanne (Richard) Toblin, brothers; Jimmy Beveridge, Billy Beveridge and bother-in-law; William McCausaland.

Surviving is loving wife and best friend for over 72 years, Phyllis Jean (McCausaland) Beveridge, his son, Russell William (Karen) Beveridge, grandchildren; Brian (Jessica) Beveridge, Scott (Skyler) Beveridge, four (4) great-grandchildren; Mason, Madison, Brek, and Orabella, siblings; Cecelia (Joseph) Campbell and Robert (Paulette) Beveridge as well as, several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, OH 43906 on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 2:00 pm until the time of the American Legion Service at 4:00 pm.
