Irene R. Palombi, 94, of Shadyside, OH died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the Shadyside care Center. She was born January 26, 1923 in Shadyside, a daughter of the late Enoch and Lucille Lewanoski Mlynek.
Irene was a former employee of Marx Toy Factory and H & R Block and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Angelo Palombi in 1974; a son, Ernest Palombi; five brothers, James, Raymond, Leonard, Ernest and Arthur Mlynek; a sister, Virginia Nardo; a granddaughter, Christine Palombi.
Surviving are a son, Russell Palombi of Thailand; a daughter, Cynthia (Stephen) Tottka of NM; a sister, Lucille Upperman of Bellaire, OH; a grandson, Michael Palombi of Wilmington, DE; a granddaughter, Heather Jean (Joseph) Marshall, Jr. of Imperial, MO; many nieces and nephews.
At her request, there will be no visitation or services. Inurnment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Bellaire at the convenience of the family.

I remember my mom and I going to baton contests with Irene and Cynthia many years ago. It was a time in our life that will not be forgotten. Cynthia, Mom and I are so sorry for your loss. Prayers for your family.
