James Cordery Jr., 78 of Powhatan Point, Ohio died Thursday December 31, 2020 at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV.
He was born September 5, 1942 a son of the late James and Wilma (Hess) Cordery Sr. in Powhatan Point, Ohio.
James worked for Ohio Ferro Alloys in Powhatan.
He also served on the Police force and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing from his boat.
James was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Diane Crooks and a great-grandson Dywane Anderson.
He is survived by his loving wife Anita (Pumpa) Cordery, his daughter Yvonne (Chuck) Mick of Lincolnton, NC and his brother John Cordery of Powhatan Point, OH.
In addition he is survived by 3 grandchildren, Nichol Adams, Jonathan (Rachel) Crooks and Danielle (Danzig Williams) Anderson; as well as two great-grandchildren, Aaron Adams and Karter Williams.
In accordance with his wishes no former services will be held.
Arrangements by the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 186 Main St. Powhatan Point, Ohio 43942.
Final disposition will be held at the convenience of the family.
