James R. Brown, 82, of Powhatan Pt., Ohio died June 25, 2018, at Liza’s Place Wheeling, WV.

Jim was born March 16, 1936, in Martins Ferry, Ohio a son of the late Fred and Rucilla Park Brown.

He was retired from Ohio Ferro-Alloys Corporation, Clarington, Ohio,and York Township. He was a 1954 Graduate of Bridgeport High School, a member of the Powhatan American Legion, a Methodist by faith and a Korean War Army veteran.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Shirley Kozel Brown, two daughters, Kathy (Robert) Graham and Tracey (Charles) Baker all of Powhatan Pt, OH,
4 grandchildren; Kari (Timothy) Reckart, Gavan (Jessica) Graham, Kali Graham, and Casey Baker.
two brothers, Fred (Mildred) Brown of Tavares, Fl and Terry (Kathy) Brown of Winston Salem, NC,

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 186 Main Street, Powhatan Pt., OH on Friday from 1 pm until time of Funeral Service at 5 pm with Pastor Michelle Lucarelli officiating.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Holly Memorial Gardens.

Powhatan Honor Guard will conduct services Friday beginning at 4:45pm at the funeral home.
