I was saddened to hear of Janie’s passing. Spent many happy hours at Kenneth and Louise’s with Nancy and friends, where we were always welcome. I remember Jane’s sense of humor, and was delighted to read all of the wonderful tributes from former students. I know she will be greatly missed.
Jane was a wonderful person and a brilliant teacher. She was a devoted member of Psi Chapter when she could attend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Fly high, fly free! Enjoy your wings, Miss Jane!! You will be missed!!!
My Dear Mrs. King, How you touched so many lives in such a positive light does not even begin to tell the story of how thankfull so many people are knowing you. Your countless hours with my Casey has no words to express my love and gratitude. You and Eddie treated her and our family so kindly and we will always love you. I know you and Eddie are smiling down on us. Love you, Chet, Sue, Casey, Ashley and Austin

Janie was my mentor and friend while teaching at Leona Middle School. My heart breaks for all family and friends. She will be missed. She was always a shoulder to cry on, a friend to lend and ear, and a confidant in times of need. Love to all!
Mrs. King was always one of my favorite teachers and looking back, seemed a natural at it. She was also my neighbor, and she and her husband were very nice to me. My condolences to the family.
Mrs. King is definitely flying with the angels. She was a great teacher and an even better person. She touched so many lives.
