Jason Moser, 42 of Neffs, Ohio died Sunday April 26, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

He fought a brave battle against cancer and is now at peace.

Jason was born August 29, 1977 a son of Hank and Cheryl (Bennett) Horn in New Martinsville, WV.

Jason worked as a coal miner for Century Mining and was a Marine Corps veteran.

He was a member of the Neffs Rod and Gun Club as well as the American Legion Post 0077.

Jason loved the Ohio State Buckeyes.

He was very active in the truck pull circuit and was a Chevy fan.

He married Melinda (Ritchie) Moser on May 17, 2014. Jason is survived by his parents and his beloved wife.

He is also survived by his children Kelsie Moser of Shadyside, Ohio, Jonas Schmidt and Nathan Ritchie both of Hannibal, OH, Jay (Olivia) Billiter of Wheeling, WV and Koltan Henthorn of Neffs, Ohio.

In addition he is survived by his siblings, Jonathon (Mandy) Moser, Josh (Melissa) Moser, Justin Moser, Greg Horn, Jennifer (Jim) Osman, Steve Horn and Dave (April) Horn; as well as a granddaughter Khloe along with many nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held on Saturday May 2, 2020 at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441, 37th street Bellaire, Ohio 43906 with Bishop Michael Tolliver officiating.

I am so sad and heart broken for Myndi and all of Jason’s family and friends. He was always a good friend to me. He could always make you laugh!! He will be missed by many. RIP Jason
