Jean Leroy Davis, 87 of Shadyside, Ohio died Thursday, October 8, 2020 in the Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, West Virginia. He was born in Shadyside, Ohio on September 21, 1933 son of the late James L. and Sarah Wiedemann Davis.

Jean was a retired estimating engineer and Vice President for JD&E, member and former elder of the First Christian Church, Shadyside, Ohio, 65 year member and former secretary of the Shadyside Lodge 724 F&AM, Hope Commandry and Chapter Council, Past Prelet of Grand Commandry, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Steubenville and served in the US Naval Reserves.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judith Davis Dennis.

Surviving is his wife, Evelyn J. Dawson Davis, whom he married on June 19, 1954, daughter, Deborah Jean Beekman of Cambridge, Ohio and son, James William Davis of Caribou, Maine. Also two granddaughters and six great grandchildren.

Family and Friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, Ohio on Saturday from 6 to 8 pm and Sunday from 12 to 3 pm and 6 to 8 pm where services will be held on Monday at 11 am with Pastor James A. Monogioudis and Pastor Eric White officiating.

Interment in the Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
