Jean Meta Parker (Schiller), 92 of Shadyside, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the Continuing Healthcare of Shadyside. She was born December 12, 1927 in Saginaw, Michigan .
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard “Bud” Parker and her brother Herbert Schiller.
Jean was retired from the former Suter’s IGA in Shadyside and a member of the Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her son, Richard Parker and his wife, Lois of Shadyside, Ohio; her daughter, Nancy Hibdon and her husband, Craig of Huntersville, North Carolina. Also four grandchildren, Jessica Sechrest and her husband, Brian “Bubba” of Etna, Ohio, Zachary Parker and his wife, Kim of Shadyside, Ohio, Stephanie Iyer and her husband, Prashanth of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Michael Barquero of Charlotte, North Carolina and four great grandchildren, Max and Marlee Sechrest and Kamryn and Bryce Parker.
A private family only service will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 with Rev. Seth Filburn officiating at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, Ohio.
