Joan Caroline Rose Tollett, 82, of Shadyside, OH died Friday, July 24, 2020 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV. She was born October 1, 1937 in Ramsgate Kent, England, the daughter of the late Thomas and Ivy Saunders Hurst.

Joan was a homemaker and a member of Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church where she was an active in many church functions.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Chris Hurst; a sister, Maisie Schultz.

Surviving are her husband of 63 years, George F. Tollett of Shadyside; her children, Denise (Mark) Reisberger, Dennis (Peggy) Tollett, Tom Tollett all of Shadyside and Tammy (Bill) Nixon of Warwood, WV; a brother, Joe (Francis) Hurst of England; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

As per her wishes, no visitation or services are planned.
