Pappy Joe Courtwright died December 22, 2020 at Country Club Retirement Campus in Bellaire, Ohio.
He was born January 12, 1946 a son of the late Thomas and Ethel (Glover) Courtwright in Aleppo, PA. Joe worked for the Department of Highways as a driver and in maintenance.
He was a member of the South Bellaire United Methodist Church.
He was a very hard worker and everyone felt like they knew him just moments after meeting him.
He loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen Huff, two sons Melvin and Michael; as well as his siblings, John, Rex, James, Herman Leonard, Betty and Myrtle.
He is survived by his children, Judy (Bill) Foster, Larry (Denise) Courtwright, and Gary (Melody) Courtwright, and a daughter-in-law, Melissa.
In addition he is survived by his brothers, Raymond and Bert Courtwright, 17 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
