Met John and Harriett 24 years ago at Seneca Lakes. They were what we called our camping buddies. The love and memories we have is like no other. John and my husband Rick would go out early fishing and always come back with a fish story to tell, John and Harriett introduced my children Ricky and Tabitha to homemade ice cream one year and then every year after that it was a tradition to have it. We had even brought our youth group up to camp at Seneca Lakes. Our lot was small but John took care of that he built a nice fire and invited all of us to his camp site to have devotions , each kid share something and then John sang. He was a true friend and we will miss him greatly. We are so blessed to have known him and take pleasure in knowing we will see him again in Heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with Harriett and the rest of his family.

When someone you love dies, it is always a difficult experience for family members. Sorry for your loss. May you all find comfort, as you pour out your heart in prayer, to “the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials. He is the hearer of prayer. (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4; Psalms 65:2).
