John R. Trigg 75 of Bellaire, Ohio died Friday, January 11, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness.

He was born April 18, 1943 a son of the late Arthur and Mildred Brandon Trigg.

John was the founder and owner of Trigg Construction and Home Improvement celebrating 50 years of service to the Ohio Valley. He was a member of the East Richland Evangelical Friends Church in St. Clairsville, Ohio.

John had a passion for fishing and hunting and enjoyed fishing on Lake Erie with Captain Walt.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy C. Gulley Trigg on March 19, 2018. They were married on July 8, 1972; one daughter, Media Trigg, his sister, Doreen Gellner and brothers, Arthur “Jim”, Marion and Vernon Trigg.

Surviving are his children, Gina (Albert) Fuller of Bellaire, Ohio, Michael Farnario of Neffs, Ohio, Christina Trigg of Columbus, Ohio, Millie (Dave) Williams and Melissa Trigg of Neffs, Ohio, his brother, Tom (Renata) Trigg of Romance, Arkansas, sisters-in-law, Marie Trigg of Dillonvale, Ohio, Rose Trigg and Latricia Trigg both of Bellaire, Ohio. Also six grandchildren, Tawni Fuller, Ross Fuller, Desiree Farnario, Johnathan Farnario, Amber (JR) Zullo, David (Sara Prokopakis) Williams, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Monday from 2 to 8 pm where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am with Rev. Jerry Wenger officiating.

I’m very sorry for your loss. I have a lot of memories of John. He was a friend of my fathers and I went to his house quite often as a young man. 1 time he even gave me a doe he had shot because I didn’t get a deer that year. I ran into him from time to time and he always took the time to ask how I was doing. RIP John,

John was a great man! He helped my family out so much! My husband worked for John and had nothing but respect for him. Our prayers go out to his family. RIP John ❤️
