John W. Benedetta 64 of Shadyside, Ohio died Monday, June 3, 2019 in the Continuing Healthcare of Shadyside in Shadyside, Ohio.

He was born October 3, 1954 in Bellaire, Ohio son of the late Gene J. and Elizabeth “Betty” Benedetta.

John was a retired manager of the Verdes Tropicana Bowl in West Palm Beach, Florida and a member of the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio.

Surviving are his sisters, Jennifer (Jack) Buzek of Greenacres, Florida and Cathy (Ray) Benedetta Peloquin of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and his brother, Ray A. Benedetta of Shadyside, Ohio. Also two nephews, Brian Buzek of Greenacres, Florida and Jason Buzek of Nashua, New Hampshire.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 9:30 am until the time of funeral liturgy with Mass at 10 am at the St. John Catholic Church with Fr. Daniel Heusel, as Celebrant. Inurnment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.

My sincerest condolences; The Memories of our bowling days will forever be in my heart! There have been few that ever loved or promoted the sport of Bowling as John did! He will truly missed by all of those he touched!

When they were in school my brother, Joe & John were friends, they both loved sports. So now John & Joe can get caught up since both of them are with God in heaven!! John was always so nice & polite so I know his family will miss him, I will be praying for all of you in this time of sorrow
