Josephine Haydin, 97, of Shadyside, OH died Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor Nursing Home, Columbus, OH. She was born June 15, 1921 in Bellaire, OH a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Pollack Haydin.
Josephine was a retired employee of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wheeling, WV and a member of the former St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Bellaire and has attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Shadyside.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and husband, Frances (Bernard) Kissell.
Surviving are a niece, Patti (Tom) Berger of Westerville; a nephew, Charles Bernard (Rosemarie) Kissell of Avon Lake, OH; a great niece, Tricia Berger; two great nephews, Trevor (Amanda) Berger and Tyler (Amanda) Berger; two great great nieces, Sara and Haydin Berger; two great great nephews, Ben and Harper Berger.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8 pm at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, OH.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fr. Ed Maxfield as celebrant. Burial follows in Powhatan Cemetery.
