Keith L. Brown, 55. of St. Clairsville, OH died Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. He was born August 18, 1960 in Weirton, WV a son of Shirley Vincent Brown and the late James Brown.
Keith was a 1979 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and was very active in all sport functions, a player/coach for the Recreation Department League and enjoyed fishing, hunting, BBQ’s, fish fry’s and spending time with his children, family and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Brown; paternal grandmother, Jessie Brown; maternal great-grandmother, Ernestine Catlipp; uncle, Larry Vincent; mother-in-law, Eloise Johnson; two brothers-in-law, Miles Smith and John Parson.
Surviving are his loving wife of 19 years, Cynthia M. Smith Brown; his mother, Shirley Brown both of St. Clairsville; sons, Erik Lamont Brown of Pittsburgh, PA and Jaylon MarKeith Brown of Youngstown, OH; daughter, Nicole Goodson of St. Clairsville; brother, Rodney (Gina) Brown of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Sonya Gillespie of St. Clairsville and Andrea (Larry) Scott of Pittsburgh; maternal grandmother, Juanita Catlipp of St. Clairsville; sisters-in-law, Renea (Larry) Whetstone of Martins Ferry and Vicky (Michael) Crawford of Staunton, VA; brothers-in-law, Greg (Michelle) Smith of Toledo, OH and Aundrae Smith of Killeen, TX; a special nephew, Dionte Whetstone; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Louis Snead.
Friends will be received Monday from 2-8 pm at Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory 204 West Main Street St. Clairsville.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 am at Shiloh Temple Apostolic Church with Elder Larry Scott officiating. Final arrangements at the convenience of the family.

I met Keith (poppa) as we called him in 07 always so full of life and loved his family more than life itself he lived for them. He was a very good man I am sorry I missed this momma he will missed deeply by so many of lives he touched with his soft heart.
The good times pass too fast. Blessings to all the family. Miss you Keith.

I was saddened to read about Keith’s death. I remember well him, Mike, Rodney, Sonya, and Andrea from St. Clairsville High. I wash to offer the Brown Family my prayers and condolences. I remember talking to Keith a year or so ago and how proud he was of his children. He was a good person and will certainly be missed.
Thoughts and prayers go out to the Brown family during this time of loss. Keith was a true joy to be around each and every time that we met. He was so full of life and a friend to all.

I went to school with Keith from K through 12. He was always nice to everyone and had a great, mischievous smile that could chase away the blues. My thoughts and prayers and sincerest condolences to his family.
