Kenda Lou Ramsay, 63, of Powhatan Point, OH passed on to her heavenly home on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.
She was born on January 13, 1960 to Marguerite (Abrigg) Huffman and the late Melvin Huffman in Bellaire, OH.
Kenda was a Christian by faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, being a Nana to her grandchildren who were the light of her life, and watching sports (especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns!).
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Melvin “Timothy” Huffman.
Kenda is survived by her husband, Michael of 42 years; children: Michael “Jason” Ramsay of Shadyside, OH, Logan Ramsay of Powhatan Point, OH, Presley Ramsay of Moundsville, WV, Jordan (Terry) Kirkland of Sardis, OH, Laken (Alec) DeWitt of Wheeling, WV, Landyn (Eric) Blinn of Beaver, PA, Noah Ramsay of Powhatan Point, OH, and Wyatt Ramsay of Powhatan Point, OH; Mother: Marguerite “Doodle” Huffman of Sardis, OH; Sister: Deborah “Debbie” (Marlin) Headley of Jerusalem, OH; 6 grandchildren: Jovie, Benson, Bryor, Payton, Braylee, and Adriana; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home- 186 Main Street Powhatan Point, OH 43942 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Powhatan Cemetery.
