Mel, Donnie & boys, we were saddened to see the passing of your mom, she truly was a very good person. Know that she now rests in heaven with the Lord and is now at peace. Prayers for all, RIP Jean.
Melody, you mom was so nice. I fondly recall all the times I would see her at the school and used to sometimes sit and visit with her and Kay at the football games when I came back to town on the weekend. She made the world a brighter place.
Melody and Don: Please accept our condolences; so sorry to hear of Jean’s passing. As my brother, Phil, stated in his condolence, Jean and my Mom, Kay, were such great and long-time friends. They were always planning and doing something–whether it be going to a movie, going out to dinner or going on vacation. They were great for each other–great companionship, especially after both had retired from the Shadyside School System. I’ll bet they have already been out to dinner up in Heaven . . . catching up on the brief time that they were apart. Jean was very special to my Mom which, in turn, made her very special to us!
Jim Glasgow & entire family…my sincere sympathy for the loss of your sister.
