Lillian Lemont Parker, 92 of Boggs Run, WV died on September 26, 2020 at Continuing Healthcare of Shadyside, OH. She was born December 5, 1927, and was the daughter of the late Gordon and Florence Ross Upperman of Bellaire, OH.
She was a graduate of Bellaire High School and Elliott School of Business in Wheeling, WV. She loved to travel as a member of OPAL’S, of OVMC. Other clubs she had belonged to were; American Legion Auxiliary, Wheeling’s Womens Club, Red Hats, Olgebay Institute of Fine Arts, where miniatures she made were on display. She also gave lessons on Paper Quilling, a lost art, at many libraries in the area. She loved walking, biking and swimming into her 80’s.
She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Daniel Thomas of Bellaire, OH; and Wilbur Parker of Boggs Run, WV. Two brothers, William Upperman of Richmond, VA and Edwin Upperman of Bellaire, OH.
Lillian is survived by her daughter, Linda Thomas Gulla of Bellaire, OH ; three sons, Greg (Christine) Parker Sr., of St.Clairsville, OH, David Gordon (Barb) Parker and Mark Parker Sr., all of Moundsville, WV, a sister Betty DePaulis of Bellaire, OH. 8 grandchildren, Leigh Ann Gulla Dombkowski and sons of Pittsburgh, PA, Brian J. Gulla and family of McConnelsville, OH, Greg Parker Jr. of Morgantown, WV, Thomas Parker of Columbus, OH, Mark Parker Jr. and Family, Gage Parker, Jessica Parker Pyles and family, Bataia Parker, all of Moundsville, WV. Also 8 great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or services per Lillian’s request.

Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss of dear Lillian. I was truly blessed as the OPALs director at OVMC to spend time with Lillian through the years. She was always so pleasant and kind and it was wonderful to have her on our trips and OPALs activities. May God provide you comfort as you grieve this loss. I will keep you all in my prayers!!
