Linda J. Phillips, 72, of Bellaire, OH died Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at her home. She was born July 20, 1947 in Bellaire, a daughter of the late Steve and Mildred McVicker Holub.
Linda was retired from Martins Ferry Beauty Salon and a Methodist by faith. She was also a member of Bellaire Senior Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton “Rick” Phillips; a brother, Tom Holub; a sister, Margaret Spoon.
Surviving are a daughter, Sarah J. (Aaron) Corrigan; a son, Patrick L. (Heather) Phillips; both of Bellaire; siblings, Rose Merryman of Bellaire, Louise Helms of St. Clairsville, OH., Bob (Linda) Holub of Stewartsville, OH., Irene Clark of Bellaire; a sister-in-law, Ruby Holub of Murfreesboro, TN; a brother-in-law, Charles Phillips of St. Clairsville; several nieces and nephews.
Friends received on Saturday from 2-4 pm at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire with services at 4 pm with Rev. Mark McKay officiating. Final arrangements at convenience of the family.

Sarah Jean and Patrick, I am so sorry , your mom was a sweetheart to work with, we had some good times at MF beauty shop.always good memories. I am also very sorry I can’t make it down, have plans to go to Fairmont to have birthday dinner with my grandchildren that’s in college. You surely have my sympathy. Love Linda

Diana Gosney and I introduced Linda to Rick when we worked att Dankworth’s in Bellaire. Linda worked at Margarite’s beauty salon and Rick worked at Murphy’s.
I was a friend and co -worker of Linda’s and am so sorry to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to all her family.
